 1.      Meeting of Quincy Township Board of Supervisors was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Gunder followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Five residents were in attendance.

      2.      There was no initial public comment.

      3.      The Minutes of February 20, 2014 and February 21, 2014 along with the bills except those paid to the Supervisors were approved on a Sanders/Gunder motion. Motion carried unanimously.

     4.      Tomstown/Furnace Road update was given. The Board has ironed out the placement of the tank and treatment plant with DEP. DEP has agreed to allow them to use Tarman Springs site. The operations building size is being reduced and the tank size is being reduced to 256,000. Also 10 inch line will be used except at Lofty Heights and Monn Drive. A Sanders/Gunder motion approved the changes and approving the engineer advertising for bids upon receipt of PWS. Motion carried unanimously.

     5.      An update was given on the Municipal Park. Supervisor Sanders is working with Travis Schooley on developing the specs for the upper comfort station. Rex Benchoff is going to approve the drawings. Solicitor Lisko had a discussion with Beth Hildebrandt from DCNR and he has forwarded her email to the Supervisors. Also Supervisor Gunder informed the Board that she doesn’t want a spreadsheet, she wants costars vendor number on each invoice. A formal write up will need to be given to Beth.

     6.      There was no zoning officer’s report.

     7.      Supervisors had nothing.

     8.      Solicitor had nothing.

     9.      There was nothing during the final public comment period.

     10.  The Board adjourned to an executive session on a personnel issue at 7:10 pm.

     11.  The Board reconvened at 7:24pm. The personnel matter was that the sewer plant operator has another job offer. If he accepts other offer, the Board will need to find someone to hang their license and hire them or possibly contract with someone to hang their license.

     12.  Also during the executive session a discussion was held on possible litigation for the Municipal Park.

     13.  The meeting adjourned on a Sanders/Gunder motion at 7:28 pm.
