1.      Meeting of Quincy Township Board of Supervisors was called to order at 8:30 am. by Chairman Gunder followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. No residents were in attendance. 

           2.      There was no initial public comment

           3.      The minutes of December 6, 2011 were approved as written on a Sanders/Gunder motion.  Motion carried unanimously.  

          4.      The Tomstown TCE site Water Project Update was given. The estimate was given to the Board from William Brindle and also sent to Ruth Bishop at DEP. The construction schedule is to be sent to Ruth. The production well estimate is not going to be sent because the Board would like to review the estimate before they have a meeting with DEP.

          5.      A Bumbaugh/Sanders motion approved the Fire Service Contract for Waynesboro Borough for 2012. Motion carried unanimously.

          6.      A Sanders/Bumbaugh motion approved the Real Estate Tax Rate Resolution for 2012, Resolution 2011-08. Motion carried unanimously.

          7.      A Sanders/Bumbaugh motion approved purchasing a 2004 Ford Ranger with only 20,000 miles on it for a price of $9,500 from Greene Township. Motion carried unanimously.

         8.      A Sanders/Gunder motion approved the meeting schedule to be advertised for 2012. Motion carried unanimously.

         9.      A Bumbaugh/Gunder motion accepted the resignation of Ordean Monn as an auditor for Quincy Township effect as of December 31, 2011. Motion carried unanimously. They discussed contacting people to replace the auditors. Carol Smetzer has agreed to be appointed as an auditor. Also we will contact Joyce Benedict. Joe Schorn was contacted and also Joanne Daywalt. The Board members will follow up on the contacts and make appointments at the reorganizational meeting in January 2012.

       10.  Fred Ryder called and asked about stakes with the flags on them. Someone needs to contact him.

       11.  The Board reviewed a quote from General Code about codifying our ordinances at a price of $15,460. At the present time, the Board is not interested in this service.

       12.  The meeting adjourned on a Sanders/Gunder motion at 8:50 am.
