  1. Meeting of Quincy Township Board of Supervisors was called to order at 8:27 a.m. by Chairman Gunder followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.  Three residents were in attendance.

     

  2. There was no initial public comment.

 

  1. The Minutes of February 21, 2019 were approved on a Bumbaugh/Wilson motion along with the bills except those paid to the Supervisors. Motion carried unanimously.

 

  1. The Municipal Pension Plan Audit has been completed. It was another successful audit.

 

  1. A Bumbaugh/Gunder motion approved getting an appraisal for the lot owned by the Blue Rock Church on Tomstown Road. Motion carried unanimously. The lot is approximately seven tenths of an acre and at the present time the Township has been storing stones on the property.

 

  1. Transource Hearings were held and Supervisor Bumbaugh and Gunder attended one day of the hearings.

 

  1. Supervisor Gunder talked to Aaron Hawbaker on Buttermilk Road About his tractor trailers. He informed Supervisor Gunder that trackers are installed in his tractor trailers and if there is a complaint called in, he can tracker where the truck is located. Also Mr. Hawbaker doesn’t have any plans to rebuild the duck building. He is now hauling grain.

 

  1. The State Police Tax is back in the legislature. They are now looking at charging $42 per person in Quincy township if the legislation passes. That amount would be $23,272 annually.

 

  1.  The Board reviewed the Zoning Hearing Board Variance Request for Rock Hill Road. This hearing is for a variance of the setback requirement. The hearing is going to be on March 26. The Board has no objections to this variance.

 

  1. There was no comment during the final public comment period.

 

  1. The Board adjourned to an executive session on a Bumbaugh/Wilson motion at 8:48 AM.

 

  1. The Board reconvened at 9:00 AM. during which they discussed litigation issues.

 

  1. The meeting adjourned on a Wilson/Bumbaugh motion at 9:01 am.
