AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN All-WAY STOP INTERSECTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF STAMEY HILL ROAD (T379) AND ALTENWALD ROAD (T399), QUINCY TOWNSHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
The Township of Quincy hereby ordains as follows:
SECTION 1. Location of all-way Stop
The intersection of the Quincy Township Streets, Stamey Hill Road and Altenwald Road, is established as an all-way stop intersection, and official stop signs shall be erected in such positions as to face all traffic approaching this intersection.
SECTION 2. Stopping Distance
All vehicles approaching the intersection shall come to a full stop within a reasonable distance, before entering such intersection.
SECTION 3. Penalty for Violations
Any operator of a vehicle or tractor who shall fail to come to a full stop, within a reasonable distance, before entering any stop intersection, as hereinabove required, shall
upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine as provided pursuant to the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.
ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Board of Supervisors of Quincy Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, this 3rd day of May, 2022.
